Between the 15ᵗʰ and 16ᵗʰ centuries, chancery calligraphy - the first Western cursive script - flourished in Venice, Rome, Florence and beyond. In the heart of Italy, Reschio keeps this refined tradition alive. From 4ᵗʰ to 7ᵗʰ August 2026 and from 21ˢᵗ to 24ᵗʰ December, our Master Calligrapher - raised among ancient library volumes - will guide guests through the art of elegant script using quill and inkwell. Over three days, participants will learn to form letters and numbers by hand, and leave with a phrase beautifully written on fine quality paper.
